The Invisibility of Migrant Labour: A Critique on Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker Program

On June 3, 2024, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada announced new pilot programs that would allow permanent status on arrival for migrant home care workers. This report reviews the changes to migrant care-giving programs and impact and critiques of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program through a human rights and community based lens.
